Brookfield Zoo - Discovery Center

 Brookfield Zoo is located at First Avenue between Ogden Avenue and 31st Street in Brookfield, Illinois, just 14 miles west of downtown Chicago. There are exits to First Avenue from the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) and from the Stevenson Expressway (I-55). When on First Avenue, follow the sign south to the SOUTH entrance.  Located west of First Avenue on Ridgewood.  Just past the Riverside Brookfield High School the first block you come to is Golf Road.  Make a right turn.  After you have entered the Zoo, pass the kiosks, make a right turn and follow the service road around the back of the Zoo to the Discovery Center parking lot (you will pass 3 speed bumps and 2 stop signs  - continue until you see the Discovery Center building.
